As great as the Android OS may be, it will never be perfect like the iOS. This is solely due to Android being a general platform for most smartphones and tablets out there. Some of them will click well with the mobile OS while others don’t.
The latest Android 4.4.3 KitKat is a great example of it. This came as a surprise as the update was developed with the sole purpose of solving problems. While it does fix the camera app which drains the battery, it also brought with it new problems. To make things even worse, most complains came from the Nexus 5 users.
The issue is revealed to be with the Nexus 5’s dialler app which happens to be too laggy. Users also revealed that there are other issues like difficulty in Wi-Fi connection and Gmail services. Then, there is a Nexus 4 which faced a reboot bug and similar problems to the Nexus 5.
As for the tablets, both the Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 are still experiencing the same battery drain bug which involves the devices’ camera. Other device like the Motorola Moto X faces crashing issues too.
This is utterly disappointing as most of the device affected is Google’s product. On the other hand, it is still not a widespread issue but we do hope that the company addresses them accordingly.
