There was a lot of criticism for the Amazon Fire Phone early on, but the handset is among the top sellers at Amazon despite this. It has taken the top spot from the Samsung Galaxy S5 on Sprint. This is now the $199 32GB Fire, in second place is the $299 64GB Fire. The handset isn’t on the market at the moment and so there are not any ratings.
Of course it could be possible that Amazon put their own phone in front of the competition. But you do have to take into account that the handset is catered towards 100% of the shoppers on Amazon and therefore it could be a huge hit with fans of Amazon. The handset is available off contract; however it is too highly priced to take the top spot, which goes to the Nokia Lumia 520 GoPhone.
The Fire does come with many features that stand out; these include a dynamic display, Firefly and unlimited access to Prime Music and Instant Streaming. It comes with a free one year’s subscription to Amazon Prime too.
