Ford have been working with Microsoft to come out with the last infotainment system MyFord Touch. While it is not the worst we have seen, the MyFord Touch is often described as difficult to use and complicated.
Ford decided to shake things up a little by replacing the old MyFord Touch with the new Sync 3 ditching Microsoft and their infotainment system. The new Sync 3 infotainment system was created with the help of Blackberry instead.
Using the QNX system from Blackberry, the created the new Sync 3 which will be replacing the old MyFord Touch on all 2016 Ford and Lincoln model. According to Ford, their goal is to offer their customers a much simpler and easy to use infotainment system.
The new Sync 3 will also recognize some of the more common touchscreen gestures like pinching to zoom and a few other swipe commands to make things even easier.
