There were already talks about Seat looking to build a new large size SUV ever since they showed off the 20V20 concept last year. Most of the concept made it to the new Nissan Qashqai but some people still believe that Seat never really gave up on the large-size SUV model.
According to Richard Harrison, the Chief of Seat UK, they loved what the concept had to offer but he also added that the large size SUV is not their main focus right now. While that means we won’t see one anything soon, it also suggests that Seat might actually offer one in the future.
The large size model could come in to compete with models like the Renault Espace and Nissan X-Trail.
Although we would like to see how the concept will look in its production form, we also agree that a large size SUV isn’t exactly what the Europe market will want from Seat right now.
