Toyota still does not have a model that they can use to compete with the Chevrolet Corvette right now but they might have one soon.
We know that Toyota and BMW will be working together on the new Toyota Supra and BMW Z5. There is not a whole lot of information right now but some people seems to think that Toyota should slap on a Lexus badge and have the Supra based Lexus take on the Chevrolet Corvette.
As nice as it would be for that to happen right now, we do not think that Toyota has that in mind right now.
It has been reported that the Toyota Supra might come with a four and six-cylinder engine option with the top of the range model offering about 400hp and 300lb ft of torque.
It has also been estimated that the Toyota Supra will be coming in with a $40k price tag when it arrives.
