It is pretty common for automakers to try to hide their vehicle by making it look like it is a totally different model. Based on the latest spy shot of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, it looks like Chevrolet was going for the Ford F-150 look but it was definitely not a success.
Chevrolet will be releasing the new Chevrolet Silverado 1500 next year as a 2019 model and they have already started testing it out in the open. While they did manage to fit on front headlights like the Ford F-150, the wheel wells and LED lights gave them away instantly.
Even though we can see them tested the Silverado right now, we still have no idea what the Chevrolet Silverado will be offering when it arrives. There are talks about it shedding some extra pounds. Some people also believe that the 10-speed auto transmission will be seen on the Silverado as well.
