Volvo’s decision to keep the Volvo XC60 as it is right now meant that the Audi Q5 will still have a slight advantage over the XC60 right now but that will not last for long as Volvo works on upgrading the 2018 Volvo XC60 model.
Spies have already spotted Volvo testing out the XC60 model and although the vehicle was heavily covered in camo stickers, it was clear that the vehicle will be getting a major exterior upgrade. Some of the new features that can be spotted include the headlights as well as the new grille.
Based on what we can see, the Volvo XC60 will be getting a design upgrade to match what Volvo is offering on the Volvo XC90 model right now which will include the T-Shaped LED headlights along with the new chrome bordered grille.
Under the hood should be a 2.0 liter four cylinder diesel engine that will be offering about 187hp and 232hp. There might also be a hybrid option as well. The XC60 will come in to sit in between the XC90 and the XC40.
