The fight might be close between the Audi Q5 and the Volvo XC60 model right now but things could change once Volvo brings forward the 2018 Volvo XC60. Just like the Volvo XC90, the XC60 will also be getting a makeover and spies have already spotted the Volvo XC60 getting tested out in the open.
The test model was heavily covered so most of the design details are still a mystery but we can still see the new T-Shaped headlight as well as the new chrome bordered grille in the front. We know that the 2018 model will be getting a new design based on the Volvo XC90 model as well.
The Volvo XC60 will be coming in to sit in between the Volvo XC90 and the Volvo XC40 and should come fitted with safety features like forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control and more. The spies also reported that the vehicle was powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder diesel engine that will be delivering about 187hp and 232bhp.
There were also talks about the Volvo XC60 coming in with a T8 Twin engine plug-in hybrid.
