The Audi Q5 might have a slight advantage over the Volvo XC60 right now but they better not get too comfy as Volvo is working on an upgrade for the 2018 Volvo XC60.
Spies have already sported Volvo testing out the Volvo XC60 out in the open and although the vehicles were heavily covered, some of the features like the T-Shaped LED headights and chrome bordered grille does suggest that the Volvo XC60 will be getting a makeover to match what the Volvo XC90 is offering right now.
It is believed that under the hood of the Volvo XC60 model is a 2.0 liter four cylinder diesel engine that will be offering about 187 bhp and 232bhp. There might also be a hybrid option that will be powered by a T8 Twin engine plug-in hybrid engine.
The upgraded 2018 Volvo XC60 which should be arriving next year will be coming in to sit in between the Volvo XC90 and XC40 model.
