We are getting closer to the unveiling of the Volvo XC40 and while the actual announcement will be made in April, there are a few details out there that will give you a better picture of what the XC40 will be offering when it arrives.
The 2018 Volvo XC40 should be coming in with a few engine options including a 1.5 liter three-cylinder engine that will be offering about 180hp. There is also a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid model that will be offering about 254hp as well as a 2.0-liter turbo four engine that will deliver about 240hp.
The new 2018 Volvo XC40 will sit below both the XC60 and the XC90 and will be fitted with a new design that is based on the Volvo XC90 model which means we will see the T-shaped headlights here as well.
The reason why we have to wait until April is because the Volvo XC40 will make its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show instead of the Geneva Motor Show
