We have been partnering worked before and while the Toyota and BMW partnership is still pretty new, most people believe that the outcome is going to be great. BMW will be helping Toyota with their Toyota Supra and in return, Toyota will be assisting BMW with their BMW Z5.
As good as that sounds, it looks like Honda is still not convinced that working with other is the way to go. They are one of the very few automakers that have managed to keep to themselves all these years.
When asked if they have any plans to work with another automaker in the future, Honda replied saying that they do not have such a plan right now and added that they would like to stay independent for now.
While we do admire their spirit, their current sales number had us wondering if keeping to themselves is the right way to go.
