With what the Mazda CX-4 had to offer and the price tag that it came with, offering it in the US would mean that it will be fighting with the Mazda CX-5 for attention and that is probably why Mazda has decided not to offer the Mazda CX-4 in the US right now. However, some people seems to believe that we might be seeing it soon.
New reports are suggesting that Mazda might be thinking about making the Mazda CX-5 into a premium model. If that happens, the Mazda CX-5 will not only be getting some upgrades like a more powerful powertrain but it will also come with a bigger price tag.
With the Mazda CX-5 getting a price hike, the Mazda lineup might have enough space for the Mazda CX-4 to come in. The Mazda CX-4 could come in to sit between the Mazda CX-3 and the Mazda CX-5.
