Most automakers are rushing to get the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support to their customers but Mazda has confirmed that they will not be offering the support in their Mazda models for the time being but thanks to Google, you won’t have to wait for Mazda anymore.
Google announce this week that all their Android smartphone user can now run Android Auto on their smartphone. That means your automaker won’t have to include the Android Auto support for you to use it now.
To get the Android Auto running on your device, you will need to install the app on your device. OK Google is not supported right now so you will need to manually tap the microphone to use the voice command feature.
The Android device will have to be running on the Android 5.0 and above. With this new app, Mazda users won’t have to wait for Mazda to release the Android Auto support anymore.
