Before you think that Mazda has finally crashed under all the pressure and has decided to offer the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in their upcoming Mazda models, they have not. In fact, it does not seem like they plan to give their customers the update anytime soon but we know that Android users will no longer have to wait for automakers to offer them the support now.
A few weeks ago, Google announced that their Android Auto is now available on the app store. All Android users that have a smart device that runs on the Android 5.0 and above will be able to run the app on their device.
However, when it was first released, the OK Google features wasn’t available yet so users had to tap on the microphone manually if they would like to use the voice command features but now, Google has finally updated the app which means it now supports Ok Google.
Since Google is only releasing the app per account basis, some of you might still have to wait a little longer to get the app.
