The thing about newly upgrade iconic models like the Jeep Wrangler is that people will be rushing out to get themselves one once the new and upgrade model arrives. To make sure their customers are not forced to wait months before they can get their hands on once, Jeep has decided to invest in their plant to increase the capacity of the plant.
There were speculations about the Jeep Wrangler getting moved to a new plant just because the current plant won’t be able to handle the new Jeep Wrangler. Jeep has now confirmed that the Wrangler will not only be staying that their Toledo plant but it will also be getting a much-needed upgrade.
Jeep’s aim is to increase the capacity of the plant from 240,000 to 450,000 although it has been reported that only 350,000 units will be the new Jeep Wrangler. The rest will be the upcoming Jeep Wrangler pickup truck.
Not only is Jeep speeding things up at their plant but there decision to upgrade the plant has also created 700 new jobs for at the plant.
