The Audi RS5 is currently at a very comfortable position in terms of performance but things might start to get a little uncomfortable soon as the Infiniti Q60 slither their way closer to the Audi RS5.
The current Infiniti Q60 Coupe model is close enough as it is but Infiniti is not looking to stop at that. Talks about Infiniti working on a more powerful model have been going around for some time now and although we are not expecting to see an RS fighter anytime soon, we might actually see a sportier model joining the Infiniti Q60 Coupe lineup.
According to Infiniti, they are currently working on another sportier model but they did not reveal what the sportier model will be offering although they did hint that it coming be coming with a hybrid engine.
The current Audi RS5 comes with a 450hp engine that is able to go from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds while the top of the range Infiniti Q60 Red Sport will come with a 400hp engine that will need about 4.5seconds to go from 0-60mph. A more powerful model could actually close the huge gap that these two models have right now.
