The Chevrolet Corvette in the market can’t really compete with the Ford Mustang GT500 right now but things will not be the same anymore when Chevrolet brings out the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 model.
The ZR1 will be getting a powertrain upgrade that would allow it to take on other powerful models like the Ford Mustang GT500. It is believed that the upgrade Corvette ZR1 will be offering about 700hp to 750hp when it arrives. The current top of the range model will be offering about 650hp.
The Ford Mustang GT500, on the other hand, will come in with an 800hp engine which is more than what the Corvette ZR1 will be offering but considering all the extra weight that the Ford Mustang GT500 will be offering, it looks like the Corvette ZR1 will be the ultimate winner at the end of the day.
