The Ford Mustang is one of the most iconic American cars but outside of the US, the Mustang is not that popular not because people did not like what they had to offer but because the Mustang was not available in most of the countries.
Ford only offered the Ford Mustang with the left-hand drive system and because of that, it was only sold in countries that use the left-hand drive system. Ford decided to change it up a little when they release the latest generation model.
Instead of offering just the left-hand drive system, Ford also made it a point to develop and release a right-hand drive system model for the rest of the market and things could not have been better for Ford.
They not only beat the Camaro but have been keeping the lead ever since the 2014 model was released. We know that the Chevrolet Camaro is still trying to survive on only the left-hand drive system. Maybe they should copy what Ford did.
