The Nissan Navara NP300 will be coming in with a 2.3-liter diesel engine. The truck will come with two engine output option. The base model will deliver about 158bhp. Those looking for more can opt for the 187bhp model. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission with the seven-speed auto transmission being offered as an option. The 2WD King-Cab model will return about 44.9mpg combined. The Navara NP300 will also come with standard safety features like LED DRL, Hill descent control, Hill Start Assist, rear parking sensors and more.
The Volkswagen Amarok, on the other hand, will come running on a 3.0 liter V6 TDi engine. Volkswagen will be offering three output option. The base model will be delivering about 161hp followed by the 201hp model and lastly, the 221hp model. The engine will be mated to a manual transmission or an eight-speed auto. The Amarok will need 7.9seconds to go from 0-62mph with a top speed of 120mph.
