Toyota has just started offering their new Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and it has already nabbed its first award and not just any award but one from TAWA’s Truck Rodeo, one of the most prestigious awards for trucks.
While Ford was the biggest winner of the truck category, Toyota still managed to steal one for themselves. The new 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro was awarded the Midsize Pickup Truck of Texas award beating out trucks from GMC and Chevrolet.
Unlike the standard model, the Toyota Tacoma TRD Po is all about the off-road. It is fitted with tons of new off-road features and tech. The truck will be powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed auto transmission. It will be fitted with features like a set of 16inch TRD black alloy wheels, Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Kevlar-reinforced tires, IFP, and more.
The Toyota Tacoma TDR Pro will retail for $40,760.
