The GMC Acadia is way up there as one of the top SUV in the market but the Toyota Highlander is not going to let them get away with it.
Under the hood of the GMC Acadia is the 2.5 liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six speed auto transmission. The engine will be offering about 194hp and 190lb ft of torque. The Toyota Highlander on the other hand will come in with a 27 liter inline 4 engine that will be offering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque and will be mated to a six speed auto transmission. There is also a 3.5 liter V6 and a hybrid option.
The GMC Acadia will also reutnr about 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway while the Toyota Highlander will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. The Highlander will also come with features like emergency brake assist, dusk sensing headlights, glass breakage sensor and more.
The GMC Acadia will retail for $29,995 while the Toyota Highlander will retail for $40,228.
