Last year might have been the year for the Toyota Corolla but not this year as the Honda Civic sneaks in to overtake the Toyota Corolla.
There might be more than one reason why the Corolla is sliding backward but some believe that the Corolla might be in the same situation as the Mazda 3 right now. Most automakers has been scrambling to get the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support ready for their customers, but Mazda and Toyota decided not to offer it on their Mazda 3 and Toyota Corolla and many believe that that might be the reason why people seems to prefer the new Honda Civic over the Toyota Corolla or Mazda 3.
Of course, if infotainment is not really that important to you, the Toyota Corolla is still an amazing vehicle. The 2017 model will be fitted with a few new tech including the adaptive cruise control as well as the auto braking system and lane keeping assist system.
Under the hood is a 1.8-liter I-4 engine that will be offering 132hp, slightly more than before.
