It seems like people are now more focused on how far an electric car can bring them instead of how fast and that was probably why Tesla saw that it was necessary to offer the Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X with a longer range.
Tesla has just launched the Tesla Model S 100D and the Tesla Model X 100D. With the upgrade, the Tesla Model S 100D will now be offering an electric range of 335miles when it arrives. To put things into perspective, the Tesla Model S P100D was offering about 315miles.
As for the Tesla Model X, the vehicle will be offering about 295miles after the upgrade.
Since this model will not be offering the same performance as the P badge models, Tesla also reduced the price of both the Tesla Model X and Tesla Model S. The Tesla Model S will now retail for $95,000.
