The 2017 Subaru WRX STi was given a few upgrades but the minor upgrades will not be enough of they plan to take down the Ford Focus RS.
The 2017 Subaru WRX STi will be coming in with a new tricot headliners. The WRX STi will also be coming in with auto headlights and auto wiper. Other features that will be offered as standard features now will include the Blind spot detection system as well as rear crossing traffic alert system. The WRX STi will also be running on the 2.5-liter engine that will be delivering about 305hp and 290lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual or a CVT.
The Ford Focus RS, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be delivering about 350hp and 350lb ft of torque. The engine will be returning about 20mpg in the city and 29mpg on the highway. According to Ford, the Ford Focus RS will only need 4.6 seconds to go from 0-60mph and has a top speed of 165mph.
