With what the Subaru WRX has to offer now, taking on the Ford Focus is going to be an issue but maybe it will have an easier time going up against the Ford Fiesta ST?
The Ford Fiesta ST now comes with a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine under its hood. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and will be delivering about 197hp and 202lb ft of torque. The Ford Fiesta ST will also be returning about 26mpg in the city and 35mpg on the highway. The Fiesta ST will be fitted with safety features like post-collision safety system, dusk sensing headlights and fog lights.
The Subaru WRX, on the other hand, will come in with a 2.0 liter Flat 4 engine. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission as well and will be delivering about 268hp and 258lb ft of torque. The WRX will return about 20mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway. The Subaru WRX will come with safety features like emergency braking assist, tire pressure monitor, DRL, traction control and more.
The Ford Fiesta ST will retail for $21,460 while the Subaru WRX will retail for $26,695.
