For those living in the US, the Subaru Impreza will only be getting an upgrade in 2017 but we do not have to wait until the end of the year to know what the Subaru Impreza will be getting. Subaru was at the Tokyo Motor Show where they showed off the Subaru Impreza concept.
So what kind of upgrade can we expect to see when the 2017 model arrives? On the outside, the Subaru Impreza will be getting a new design. The new design will be based on the Subaru Impreza 5-Door concept that they showed off last year. We are really hoping that Subaru would actually stick to the concept this time but since this is Subaru after all, we will be expecting the worse.
Subaru did not talk about the engine but it is believed that the Subaru Impreza will be getting a 2.0-liter engine. Some say that we might see a Levorg engine under the hood as well but we will have to wait and see if that happens.
The new model will come to face up against models like the Ford Focus, Honda Civic and more.
