We all know that the Subaru Impreza was one of the rare few models that actually looked like its concept. For those that is familiar with Subaru’s habit of changing the design of the production model, you will know that the fact that the Subaru Impreza came looking like the Subaru 5-Door concept it was based on was a surprise on its own.
Subaru showed off the concept at the Tokyo Motor Show and while most people were actually impressed with what Subaru has to offer, nobody really thought that Subaru would stick so close to the concept.
Of course, they did make a few changes here and there but most of the concept design did make it onto the Subaru Impreza and we couldn’t be happier.
Powering the Subaru Impreza right now is a 2.0 liter flat four engine that will be delivering slightly more than the previous model. The previous mode delivered about 148hp while the 2017 model will be offering about 152hp.
