The new 2017 Subaru Forester was tested by IIHS along with a few other models and the Subaru Forester manage to score a poor for their headlights performance at night.
Of the 21 small SUV that IIHS tested out, none of them receive a Good rating, four receive an Acceptable rating while 5 other were rated Marginal. The rest, including the Subaru Forester, was rated, Poor.
The result is surprising since we all know that Subaru does have better head lights to offer. There Subaru Outback was fitted with the new High Beam Assist High-Intensity Discharge headlights which were rated Acceptable by IIHS. The Subaru WRX was also fitted with the new Illumination HID headlights which are also better than what the Subaru Forester will be offering.
The other models that were given a Poor rating by IIHS include the Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Renegade, Audi Q3, Kia Sportage, Nissan Rogue and more.
