The Subaru BRZ got a lot of attention when it was first released but Subaru’s slow upgrade rate meant that their rivals had more than enough time to catch up to them and that is exactly what’s happening to the Subaru BRZ right now.
While it still looks impressive, people are still not impress with what the 2017 model will be offering. The interior looks cheap and boring. Fans are saying that if they were to spend so much money on the Subaru BRZ, they are expecting it to come with a much better interior.
It does not help that Subaru has also decided to offer the Subaru BRZ with the same engine. Fans gave been asking for a turbocharged engine for some time now but that is not going to happen.
The 2017 model will be coming in with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be offering about 205hp, 5hp more than the previous model. The vehicle will return about 24mpg in the city and 33mpg on the highway and will retail for $25,495.
