Nissan recently revealed their new ProPilot System which will be offered with the Nissan Serena MPV which will be released in Japan only. While the rest of us will not be getting the Nissan Serena, we will still be getting the Nissan ProPilot system.
One of the Nissan models that should be the first to get the new ProPilot system is the 2017 Nissan Qashqai. According to Nissan, the new ProPilot features will be able to control the brakes, steering, and accelerator of the vehicle using data from the mono camera.
With the camera, te vehicle will also be able to steer itself on the road but on lane-marked roads. The system can also stop itself in traffic or to avoid from crashing into obstacles. With a press of the switch, the ProPilot system will accelerate the car back up to the cruising speed.
The ProPilot system on the Nissan Qashqai should match that Nissan is offering on the Nissan Serena in Japan.
