The Mazda CX-9 will be coming in with a few upgrade and one of the improvements that we should be seeing is the fuel economy.
NRCAN previously reported that the Mazda CX-9 fuel economy should improve by 35% compared to the previous model. Since EPA have not released any test results yet, we still do not know how much the CX-9 will be returning.
However, based on the information, it is believed that the Mazda CX-9 will return about 22mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway when it arrives. The 2017 Mazda CX-9 will come running on a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine that will be delivering about 227hp. The engine will come mated to a six-speed auto transmission.
The 2017 Mazda CX-9 will come with AWD and FWD option and will be fitted with safety features like cruise control, auto high beam control and more. The price has not been announced yet but it is estimated that the base model will retail for $31,000.
