Since the Mazda 6 was just given a face lift not too long ago, we don’t expect the 2017 to offer much in terms of an exterior upgrade but that does not mean that the Mazda 6 won’t have any upgrades worth noticing.
The Mazda 6 will still be running on the 2.5 liters inline four engine that will be delivering about 184hp and will be mated to an auto or manual transmission. Fans were hoping that the Mazda 6 could get the new CX-9 engine but it looks like the 2017 model will not.
One of the main upgrades that the Mazda 6 will be given is the addition of the new G-Vectoring Control system. The system, which will also be offered on the Mazda 3 will help the driver control the car better by coordinating the engine, transmission, and suspension.
Mazda also upgraded the build quality and insulation of the vehicle to improve the driving experience of the Mazda 6. On the inside, the Mazda 6 will now come with a full-color Active Driving Display along with a few other safety features like lane-keep assist, traffic sign recognition, advanced blind spot monitoring and more
