When you talk about reasons to get a new model, the infotainment system is going to be the last thing on your mind but when you get behind the wheels, the infotainment system is either going to help make it a great experience or ruin it for the driver.
There was a time when Ford thought that their fans would still support them even with the terrible MyFord Touch infotainment system and that did not happen. Their customers got tired of the system and many of them said that it was one of the main reason why they were reluctant to get another Ford. Well, Ford made it up to them by offering the new Sync 3 system and things could not have been any better.
However, it looks like Mazda is about the make the same mistake. While their infotainment system is not as bad as the MyFord Touch, it does not come with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. With most of the automakers now trying to offer the support as soon as possible, not having that could affect the sales of their vehicle.
