The last time the Mazda 3 got a major exterior upgrade was back in 2013 which means we should not be far from another major Mazda 3 upgrade.
Carscoops manage to get hold of what they believe is an image of the Mazda Axela brochure. The Mazda Axela is the name that the Mazda 3 was given in Japan. Based on the image, Mazda is looking to give the Axela a subtle facelift. The grille has been reshaped along with the headlights. They also made some changes to the bumper and added some new turning lights as well.
We know that the current Mazda 3 did not looks too different from the Mazda Axela in Japan which is why we think this will be how the Mazda 3 will look like as well. We do not know when Mazda plans to give the Mazda 3 an update but we think it won’t be long.
