The fact is that Mazda has not released any new information about the upcoming facelift that the Mazda 3 will be getting but what we got was the brochure for the Mazda Axela in Japan.
The previous Mazda Axela was released here in the US wearing a Mazda 3 badge so you can see why everybody got so excited when the brochure for the Mazda Axela was leaked.
Based on the images on the brochure, it looks like the Mazda 3 will be coming in with a redesigned grille as well as a new set of headlamps. The bumper will be upgraded as well. On top of all of that, the Mazda Axela’s ORVMs will now be fitted with turn signals as well.
It also states that the Mazda 3 will be coming with a 1.5-liter SkyActiv-D diesel engine that will be delivering about 104hp.
Another set of spy shots reveals that the Mazda 3 could also be getting an interior upgrade which will include the redesign steering wheel, an updated center console and more.
