We know that Jeep is currently working on the new 2017 Jeep Wrangler. While the Jeep Wrangler might come in as a new model it won’t look the part as it is believed that Jeep plans to keep the current design when they release the new model.
While we were hoping to see something new, we won’t be too disappointed if the 2017 model ends up looking like the current model. The 2017 Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a much lighter body this time around thanks to the use of lighter building materials like aluminum. The lighter overall weight should help with the fuel economy and performance of the Jeep Wrangler.
Spy shots taken from under the Jeep Wrangler test mules also revealed the new front and rear axles underneath the Jeep Wrangler as well as a new suspension and exhaust. There is not a lot of details right now so all we can do is wait.
