We know that Jeep plans to give the Jeep Wrangler a refresh for 2017. While there was talk that Jeep might be changing the exterior design of the Jeep Wrangler, there were also report that suggest that Jeep will be keeping the design for now and focus on the other aspect of the Jeep Wrangler.
It is believed that the Jeep Wrangler will come with better performance and fuel economy with the use of aluminium. Spies also manage to take a shot of the underside of the Jeep Wrangler revealing some of the under changes they’ve made on the 2017 Jeep Wrangler.
From the images, it is easy to see that Jeep will be changing the axles, suspension geometry, and exhaust bits of the Jeep Wrangler. There is still no word on what engine they will be using to run the Jeep Wrangler but some believe we might see the Pentastar V6 engine under the hood. The engine could also come mated to a ZF source eight-speed auto transmission.
