Why fix something when there is nothing wrong with it. That might be what Jeep was thinking when they made the decision to keep the Jeep Wrangler design for a little while longer. Not that we are complaining since the Jeep Wrangler does look good now but whether the design will still be relevant next year is a whole other story.
Even if Jeep does decide to keep the design, the Jeep Wrangler is far from being the same model. Thanks to the spy shots, we know that the 2017 Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a new set of axles, exhaust bits, suspension geometry and more.
It has also been speculated that Jeep might use the Pentastar V6 engine to power up the Jeep Wrangler. There were also rumors about a four cylinder diesel engine as well. It is believed that the engine will come mated to an eight-speed auto transmission sourced from ZF.
The Jeep Wrangler is estimated to retail for $25,000.
