Spies have spotted the upcoming Jeep Wrangler getting tested on the road but since the Jeep Wrangler will be using back the same design for the upcoming model, there is really nothing much we can get from the outside.
What holds the secret is hiding in the bottom. Some spies manage to take a few shots of the underside of the Jeep Wrangler revealing some of the upgrades that the Jeep Wrangler will be getting.
Based on the spy shots, it looks like the front and rear axles will be replaced so will the suspension and the exhaust tips on the Jeep Wrangler. There were also speculations about the Jeep Wrangler coming in with a Pentastar V6 engine that might be mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed auto transmission.
We also know that it will be much lighter thanks to the use of lighter materials like aluminium.
