There is probably nothing exciting about the exterior of the Jeep Wrangler since it has already been reported that the 2017 Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with the same Wrangler design. While Jeep is still willing to let go of the design yet, they will be giving the Jeep Wrangler some major upgrades.
Starting with the weight, the Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a much lighter body this time around. Thanks to the use of aluminum, Jeep will be able to shed off some additional pounds.
Spies have already spotted the Jeep Wrangler when it was getting tested and they manage to crawl under to take a shot of the underside of the Jeep Wrangler revealing the new axles, geometry suspension, exhaust bits and more.
No word on what the Jeep Wrangler will be running on but it is believed that it will be a Pentastar engine with a ZF-sourced eight-speed auto transmission. There were also reports of a four-cylinder diesel engine as well.
