When rumors about Jeep working on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat model first started, nobody really took it seriously as people did not think Jeep would be going down that route but here we are now waiting for the production model of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat to arrive. The Hellcat model is expected to arrive this year.
It is believed that since Jeep is now looking to produce a more powerful version of their Grand Cherokee, there might be a possibility that they will also be working to fit the HEMI engine in the other Jeep models as well.
The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be sharing an engine with the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat model. Powering it will be the 6.2 liters supercharged V8 HEMI engine that will be delivering about 707hp.
With the powerful engine, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat will be able to go from 0-60mpgh in 3.5 seconds.
