They can try to cover and hide but the spies will eventually get to them. While the last few spy shots we got of the Jeep Wrangler test mule had nothing to offer in terms of exterior design since it was well covered up, the spies managed to crawl under the Jeep Wrangler test mule to take a few shots of the underside of the Wrangler revealing some of the upgrades that we will be seeing when the 2017 model arrives.
The images suggest that the Jeep Wrangler will be getting a new front and rear axles along with a new exhaust and suspension geometry. There are no details on what Jeep plans to use to power up the Jeep Wrangler yet but it is believed that it will be a Pentastar V6 engine mated to a ZF-sourced eight-speed auto transmission.
As for the design, nobody knows what upgrade we will be getting but overall, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler will look similar to the Wrangler we have now as reports suggest that Jeep plans to keep the design around for a little while longer.
