It was initially predicted that the 2017 Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with a new exterior design but based on the test mules we have been spotting so far, it looks like Jeep is not ready top part with the Jeep Wrangler design yet which could actually be a good thing.
While we do like changes every now and then, we think that the current design still has its charm. Spies also manage to take a few shots of the underside of the Jeep Wrangler revealing new axles underneath along with a new suspension geometry, exhaust bits and more.
There is no word on the engine but it is believed that we might be seeing the 2017 Jeep Wrangler come in with a Pentastar V6 engine. There is also a possibility that we might see a four cylinder diesel engine being offered as well. The engine will most likely be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission from ZF.
It is believed that we should be seeing the 2017 Jeep Wrangler make its debut in 2016 and is estimated to retail for $25,000.
