We all know that Jeep is working to establish themselves in Asia starting with India and they have already announce that they will be offering the Jeep Renegade but to make things a little more exciting, Jeep had decided to give the Jeep Renegade a powertrain upgrade.
The standard 2017 Jeep Renegade will be running on a 2.4 liter Tigershark engine that will be pushing out about 184hp. The 1.4 liter Multiair turbocharged engine will still be offered as well. The turbocharged engine will be offering about 160hp.
To make things even sweeter, Jeep has decided to add on the 2.0 liters 4 cylinder turbocharged LJD II engine that they said will deliver more than what the 1.6 liter Multijet diesel engine will be offering.
The official numbers are not out yet so we will still have to wait and see what Jeep is looking to offer on the 2017 model.
