The Jeep Renegade was already impressive enough but it will be even more impressive now with the addition of the new turbo engine under the hood when the 2017 Jeep Renegade model arrives.
The standard engine that it came with in the past will make it into 2017 as well. The base model will still be running on a 2.4 liter Tigershark engine that will be delivering about 184hp. There is also the 1.4 liter Multiair turbocharged engine that will be delivering about 160hp.
The 2017 Jeep Renegade model will also be coming in with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged LJD II engine. According to Jeep, the new engine will be more powerful than the 1.6-liter Multijet diesel engine although the actual numbers have not been announcing yet.
Some said that the addition of the new engine was to make the Jeep Renegade more attractive when it heads to India.
