It looks like Jeep will be taking things one step further with the 2017 Jeep Renegade as they look to offer an even more, powerful engine when the 2017 Jeep Renegade arrives.
The standard Jeep Renegade model will be running on the 2.4 liter Tigershark engine that will be delivering about 184hp. There is also the 1.4 liter Multiair turbocharged engine that will be pushing out about 160hp but they will not be stopping there.
It has been reported that Jeep will also offer an, even more, powerful 2.0 liters 4 cylinder turbocharged MJD II engine when the 2017 model arrives. The new engine will top the older 1.6-liter Multijet diesel engine.
There is still no details on how much the new turbocharged engine will be offering. It is believed that the new engine will be making its way to India when Jeep releases the 2017 Jeep Renegade in India.
