Jeep will be looking to follow up the success of the Jeep Renegade with a 2017 model and it looks like power is the way to go for Jeep this time around.
It is believed that Jeep has plans to released an even more, powerful version of the Jeep Renegade when the model arrives in 2017. The 2017 Jeep Renegade will most likely come with the 184hp 2.4 liters Tigershark engine and the 160hp 1.4 liters Multiair turbocharged engine but on top of that, it is believed that Jeep will also offer the 2.0 liters 4 cylinder turbocharged MJD II engine which is bigger than the 1.6 liter Multijet diesel engine.
The official performance number for the diesel engine is still a mystery for now but it is believed that the new engine will be used to target the Indian market. Jeep will be releasing the Jeep Renegade in India.
