It is all about impressing the new market for Jeep and their Jeep Renegade. Jeep will be spicing things up for the Jeep Renegade in preparation for its debut in India.
To make sure that Jeep Renegade has what it takes to impress the consumers in India, Jeep has decided to add on a new turbo engine option. The standard engine options will still be there. The base model will come with a 2.4 liter Tigershark engine that will be pushing out about 184hp.
There is also a 1.4 liter Multiair turbocharged engine that will be delivering abut 160hp. Now, Jeep has decided to also offer a 2.0 liter 5 cylinder turbocharged LJD II engine that Jeep is saying is a lot more powerful than the 1.6 liter Multijet diesel engine.
There is not a lot of details yet so we will have to wait and see.
