Jeep will be working to give the Jeep Renegade an upgrade for 2017. Among the upgrades that the Jeep Renegade will be getting is a new turbo engine under the hood.
Like the previous model, the 2017 Jeep Renegade will still come in with a 2.4 liter Tigershark engine as its standard engine. The engine will be delivering about 184hp. The 160hp.1.4 liter Multiair turbocharged engine will be making its way back as well.
On top of those two engine option, the 2017 Jeep Renegade is now expected to come in with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder turbocharged LJD II engine that will be delivering more powered than the 1.6 liter Multijet diesel engine.
There is still no word on what the new turbo engine will be delivering but it is believed that the engine was added to so that the Jeep Renegade will have more to offer when it is released in India.
