Well, Jeep did make it clear when they announce the Hellcat-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee that it will not be coming in with a Hellcat badge, so what is it going to be called then?
Jeep did not confirm the rumors but it is believed that the powerful Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat might be called the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Like what Jeep has revealed, the Jeep Grand Cherokee will come running on the 6.2 liters supercharged V8 engine that Dodge also used to power up their Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.
We do not know for sure but on the Dodge, the engine delivered about 707hp so it has been speculated that the engine will also be delivering the same when it is fitted under the hood of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.
If the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk ends up being a success, do you think we will be seeing some other Jeep with the Hellcat engine? They did show off the Jeep Wrangler Hellcat model at the Ester Safari Event this year.
